A Clean Bill of Health

Yesterday Dad took Hans to the vet. He received two shots and gained 5 lbs since his last visit three weeks ago. He now weighs 19 lbs and Dr. Anderson predicts he will grow to be around 85 lbs! Hans has been getting hiccups every few days (super cute) and Dr. Anderson said they're very common for puppies. He loved visiting with all the girls at the front desk and will see them again in a month.

Day of Rest? Day of Play!

Hans loved spending yesterday outside in the backyard, at the park, and on walks. He is a curious pup and brings Mom & Dad gifts of leaves and wood chips from his finds.

Hans's Pal Piggy

Yesterday Hans took his first trip to Petsmart. While shopping for a doggie toothbrush and chicken-flavored toothpaste, we decided to let Hans pick out his new play toy. Although he already has a handful of toys, none seem to be the "the one". We think he finally found it - a big, pink piggy. She even "oinks".

Sunday Funday

Hans & Mom went on an early morning walk in DTA. As always, Hans met a lot of new friends around town. He saw his first rainbow and had a good time watching the ducks at Ego Alley.

Hans even took a moment to sit with the Kunta Kinte memorial statue. Today is the warmest day he has ever experienced - 65°! We're looking forward to spring!

Bath time!

Two weeks ago, we gave Hans his first bath. When we gently placed him in the bath tub, Hans tested the water with a few licks. Despite seeming a little nervous during his first water encounter, he did an excellent job of allowing Mom & Dad to lather and rinse.
